When I turned 11, I received my first laptop as a gift.

I remember that laptop quite fondly. While I don’t recall the exact model specifications, I do know it was a Compaq Presario. It came used—my parents likely got it from one of their dealers or someone adjacent to that—and it was running Linux of all things, with a GNOME desktop environment.
